This duet plays more of that coffeehouse type music. You know, lots of acoustic guitars, a harmonica, flute, congas, tamborine, etc., compliments of a few friends (guest musicians) & poetic vocals with lots of background vocals. One thing that strikes me right off is the high quality production. Much concentration has been put on effects. Like how Steve Vai puts the guitars & voices in his music so far up front you'd swear he was actually standing in your head playing. This makes an often otherwise boring genre more interesting. The professionalism & creativity is deserving of label interest. While many similar groups sing of the woes of a "mother earth" or mother country, Life in General sings of love lost in "Stand Alone", hope in "Plus Sign Makes a Cross" & a message from the Holy in "Holy Mighty Dead". "Draw A Bead" reminds me of Don Francisco.
