With this band featuring two members of Deliverance from the speed metal days, I expected a fret-burning fest. That was not the case. What is here, however, is some great bluesy rock and roll. "Apathy's Child" and "Rescue Me" are all-out rockers, while "Because (Lucy's Song)" is a softer acoustic treat. Former Deliverance bassist Brian Khairullah is the vocalist here, and sounds similar to Jimmy Brown and Axl Rose. Former Deliverance guitarist, Glenn Rogers, displays his talent here, although not near as intense as his playing on the Deliverance debut.
