Out of France comes a hard-rockin' band for Jesus. All their lyrics are in their mother language. The music is pretty good. The last song, "Ceci est une priere (This Is a Prayer)," has a really beautiful melodic guitar throughout. The chorus is great (I can only tell because they sent me a lyric translation): "Jesus is calling you. Repent/ Jesus is calling you. Repent." The band lists Stryper, Bon Jovi and The Scorpions as their influences, which explains their melodic leanings. They never speed up too much, relying on a more mid-70's style of plodding bass lines and rhythms. The first song, "Papillon (Butterfly, Moth)," talks about each man having a soul. "Butterfly, moth, choose/ In a body of flesh and blood, of flesh and blood/ A soul lives in you, you don't know it." Overall, this collector's item has average music and production.
