Here's a custom collection of six tunes of funky hard rock from one of the former guitarists of Seventh Seal. The first thing noticed, unfortunately, is the low sound levels on everything. The vocals sound a bit dry, too. The music seems a bit too far retrospective to the days of funk rock and lack the aggression on guitar of modern funk metal-type stuff. Although Mel does come screaming out of his shell at least once a song, it's just nothing very loud. "Don't Make No Sense" sounds very grunge-like, as it looks at drug addiction. "U Boy" is a good song that starts to live up to Mel's potential. It's got a cool, slow 'n' funky groove. It's got a good message about racial bigotry.
