Michael's first demo wasn't made publicly available. But now he has a new four-song demo tape available for all of you who can't wait for the release of his debut solo album--hopefully in February of '94. Michael left Stryper to pursue a mellower direction, and that he has. But the 18 minutes of music on this cassette still sounds like Stryper, but without any of their heavier flourishes. "I Think You Hear Me Knockin'" opens the tape and is Michael's heaviest offering. It's about as heavy as "Always There For You," but not as commercial. "All I Wanna Do Is Love You" is a shade lighter and more commercial with some deeper DeGarmo & Key type backing vocals. "Tomorrow, Tonight," Michael's best cut, is an absolutely brilliant power ballad that has hit single written all over it. The closing cut, "Someday," is another ballad but more in the mold of "Together As One." 100% of the profits of the merchandise goes to support Michael's ministry called "HELP!!!"
