Millenium
Untitled release

This is a new band from San Antonio, Texas that was formed by Myke Connell--the traveling drummer. In the past year, Myke rejoined the rejuvenated TNK (his old group), joined One Bad Pig, and formed another Millenium. After finally settling into a drummer's seat, it looks like Myke's gonna stay here awhile.
This five-song tape has some pretty good production on the three heavy songs included here, while "Praise" and "Look At Jesus" suffer a bit from lackluster arrangements and production.
"Repent" is a hot song, featuring some Metallica-type riffs for a speed metal sound. It's heavy and very crunchy. Myke pounds the drums with ferocity here.
"Hellbound" has the double-bass upfront in the mix, creating a cool effect that accents speed. There's a nice guitar run throughout this song. The lead vocalist gets a chance to growl a bit in their heavy songs, sounding like Dale Thompson of Bride.
"Innocent Blood" rounds out the tape with a song pleading to "stop the killing!"
