i was expecting this to be lame, but it's actually pretty impressive. it's pretty mid-tempo emo/indie rock-ish, but also pretty creative. there are some odd instruments (for this sort of music, anyway), like a banjo, irish whistle, and cello, and the actual song structures are pretty creative. they do a lot of dual vocals, which is a nice touch. the soundbites are kind of excessive, and parts of one song sound like all those bands that sound like pearl jam, but other than that it's pretty good. there's also a guitar part that reminds me of the beginning of "piano lessons" by the poison girls (but that's where the similarities end). i certainly wouldn't expect this sort of sound from a band in israel.
