Well, the tough guy style of hardcore really isn't my thing. I really don't go for bands like Hatebreed, XdiscipleX AD, NIV and so on. Don't get me wrong, I love hardcore but I'm more a spirit of '88 guy. If you are more into the heavy and hard, you will probably love Opposition of One. They are in the vein of Figure Four and Throwdown. They are from Germany and are spirit filled. That actually is a real big positive. It's good to see more and more spirit filled hardcore...I miss the days of Focused and Strongarm. The metal thing was getting old.
In The Line Of Change is filled with solid mosh parts and they bring the hard and heavy with a bit of metal influence in there. This is more of throwing fists music than stage dive and high fives but I really do enjoy and respect it. Although...they do a cover of a Dodgin Bullets song...eh...I love Dodgin Bullets but you usually don't hear a cover of a song that was just made a few years ago...I dunno. Maybe they do things different in Europe.
