Commercial metal with energy, yet lacking the songwriting and production the band could use to break out nationally. Maurice Mangum's vocals do a good job of piercing the rest of the mix with a clean sound. He sounds a lot like Michael "I can sing higher!" Sweet during "Amazing Grace". These guys must be pretty hot live, because they cut some deep grooves here ("Hook City"). Very reminiscent and comparable to Divine Right's custom commercial material. I'm betting that these guys can produce something much better than the material on this tape. Keep at it guys, I think you've got something good going!
