P.W., now known quite more fittingly, as Spine, have demoed 6 well produced crushers here of pure anger. With the grooves so super thick & heavy & the speed a bit more brutal than the Pantera lot, P.W. seems more in line with other more deathly & grinding acts. Maybe it's cause of the more brooding chorus riffs (thus the tape title?) albeit vocalist Andrew is a tint Anselmo-like. You know, it's real interesting that people get so uptight about God when they don't believe in Him. It usually just sounds as if they're just angry at Him. Christians just don't make Christianity believable, I guess. "I'll save myself thanks very much I'll burn" (from "Holier"). Real cool tape otherwise. Look for full length CD soon!
