Rick Hunter's new band is cranking out the tunes, going after a commercial sound. It's funny, but vocalist Daryl Roberts sounds like Jimmy Arceneaux (Rick's old vocalist in Soldier). These eight songs are make a good listening tape. Some of the songs are average, and some are very good. The style is basically "jammin' commercial metal." The band shows they got "the stuff" by pulling off a power ballad with "Give Back Your Heart". The band shows a very palatable side to itself in the Whiteheart sounding "Waiting For You". My favorite cut is "Love Ain't No Stranger," an excellent tune with big hooks. The fingers of Mr. Hunter are temporarily unleashed on the title cut, where he blazes away. Yowza!
