Is the West Coast forgotten in Christian Hip Hop? Apparently not! Set Free is set to bring you back to the style that got millions of new listeners hooked to rap. Set Free brings it real and raw and up front. They do it the way most rappers are scared to do nowadays. They pronounce the name of Christ without fear, and for me it was refreshing to hear after so many CDs of me, me, me, and more me, and, oh . . . by the way, hi Jesus, I mean, oops, God. Now the sound harkens back to the days of NWA, King Tee, and early Ice Cube, which was OK, but could have been a little more up to date. After meeting with the boys recently they agree, and soon will bring you some new era type hits. I always like to see two emcees that can compliment each other on the mic, and MJ and Chilli.
