Shockwave. The name itself is from Transformers, just like everything else in this CD. The music here is just like the CDep Dominicon, very heavy and brutal with about 4 or 5 different kinds of vocals. Where the music lacks diversity, the vocals make up for it. For a more in depth description, read the other review(s) of this album, and the Dominicon disc. My main focus in this review is the samples thrown in throughout this album, and Dominicon. I love them. 90 percent of them are from Transformers with a little bit of G.I. Joe thrown in for good measure in the song "Warriors of Cobra." On Dominicon, I love the beginning to the song Shrapnel. A Transformer character starts off screaming, "Shockwave this! Shockwave that! All I ever hear about is how great Shockwave is!" and the song ends with "Shockwave is an ideal soldier." You gotta love it. As far as lyrics go, they are based on hate (in both releases), but focus on the forgiveness and victory over hate. They aren't directly focused on God, but they definitely have a spiritual connotation to them. To order, go to: www.angelskinmedia.com

Dead Zine 2002Reviewed by thOrNAh yeah, the kings of toughguy hardcore return. With the Transformers (we're talking old school Auto-bots/Decepticons era, not the new Beast Machines) drug running deep again comes the third release from this Erie, PA band. The last release was hard to obtain seeing as you had to trade your cash to foreign currency before sending your order to the label (it was on Goodlife out of Europe…Similar sounding releases
