Live At Deep Ellum has a mere six tracks, so don't expect a full concert when you buy this album, and you probably shouldn't expect the best from Stavesacre, either. Each live track is from Speakeasy, and the sixth is a new studio one called "Witch Trial." The live tracks are recorded well, and the instruments have a solid mix, except for the first track, which seems to catch the sound-guy off guard. The performance is not up to what Stavesacre is capable of, but still commendable. Salomon interacts with the crowd, and even without visuals it's obvious that attendees are into the show and having a good time.
