Suicide Note is a melodic hardcore band from Indiana. Their latest release "You're Not Looking So Good" is on the label known as the Ferret Music Corporation.
Fans of The Blamed "Frail" or later 90 lb. Wuss might enjoy Suicide Note, but they could also be compared to a lot of melodic hardcore bands out there. While it's hard to nail down one exact comparison, some have mentioned Converge or Curl Up and Die.
"You're Not Looking So Good" has some good tracks like "Not in a Million Years," "Random H*," "Black Cat" and who could forget the song "Come On F* Me." As for the other tracks, when Suicide Note tries to slow down they're boring. Their lyrics also don't make a lot of sense and like their music; they tend to be pretty repetitious. The mix on the album is also strange, as the drums and guitars tend to be louder than the screaming or singing.
At the end of the day, "You're Not Looking So Good" is not exactly something that really needs to be part of anybody's CD collection. There are plenty of other hardcore bands that are much better than these guys and with 10 tracks timing in at just under 30 minutes, you're not exactly getting your money's worth either.
