This split features three bands. Planes Mistaken for Stars contributes the first track with one good emo-rock song. I was into this song; B-. Race Car Riot was for the most part instrumental emo, which really got boring after a while. Emo without vocals isn't very appealing to me. The thing is, when there was singing, it was good - but there was just too much boring music; C. Appleseed Cast finishes off the split with two emo songs, one of which was good. This band is pretty good, the first song had backdone and I liked how it progressed; B. Then the next song was a lullaby, needless to say it was boring; C-. If you're emo and moody, you might like this album.
