The Cult have returned after a darn near 4 year absence & manohman it is sweet! Kickin' off this disc is "Gone", this song is thick with riffs & will leave you drained & beggin' for more, & they deliver with "Coming Down (Drug Tongue)". "Real Grrrl" is the first "ballad" & is OK but the following song "Black Sun" is a build up to sheer rock'n'roll power & is well worth the price of the CD alone! "Naturally High" is a slow funk tune & is accompanied by "Joy", also well worth the price of this disc. "Star" & "Sacred Life" the latter being quite corny, are next. "Be Free" is a Lenny Kravitz rip off but it's cool anyway. The last 3 songs hold their own with chunky riffs and backbeats galore. Go buy this disc now or you'll be considered a fool by me and all who agree. Extra Extra: The first single "Coming Down (Drug Tongue)" has 2 remixes of 2 songs of the album. The first is the Butcher Brothers Club remix of "Coming Down" and it's a trip but the highlight is the remix of "Gone", it is way cool and all distorted. So buy up Cult fans before you get old and die!
