Look out American Idol, seems like pop has some new kings. That would be The Juliana Theory. Don't take that the wrong way, though, as Love is another step in the right direction for Brett and the boys. In reviewing Love, my first determination was to find the faults in this album. Feel good songs with great melodies destroyed my early preconceptions, (and) singing along was impossible to avoid. This is no Dr. Feelgood, but the anthemesque song formation and hooks give you that feeling that TJT just want you to raise your fist in Love. Listening left me wondering if they plan on bringing a piano on tour, (cuz) if they don't Brett will be singing along to tracks like some karaoke junkie night after night; even though that would be truly fun.
Editors' ratings — Doug 3.5/5, Lonny 3/5
