I remember many albums that became my "friends," who helped me survive and keep my head up at a time when I'd rather wallow in self-pity or sit with ashes smeared all over my head. With the speed and snap of good punk rock, I'm lifted above my problems for 39 minutes and encouraged to "stoke the youth" I lost long ago. While Victory is nothing new musically, it nevertheless ignites a flame inside that I'll now fight to keep. Get out of my way.
