Boy, I'm glad I was in a good mood the week I reviewed this and two other industrial projects. This kind of music takes a certain attitude to listen to--otherwise it'll give you a headache the size of Manhattan (I sound like a parent, but it's true!). This is a concept album, carrying a theme of "personal, societal and corporate revolution," in which the main character, embracing technology, but thinking a little differently than "the system." He found Truth and wouldn't let virtual reality or new age philosophy drown it. He tries to save a girl he cares about from the dangerous leader Dr. Rubio, who wants to use technology to achieve his new age, self-centered agenda. The songwriting is great. Frankie (remember The Heebie Geebies?) and db Allen can be credited for creating a very intricate audio extravaganza and penning some great lyrics. The thought and effort put into this project is mind-boggling. You hear simulated news reports that underline the story as well as other "sound effects." This is truly a benchmark release in the growing Christian industrial genre.
