I like parts of this compilation, but some parts I don't. The most notable highlights are Underoath, Sleeping By The Riverside, Chalice, FewLeftStanding, Carry The Dead, and Fable. All these bands are on Takehold. The song by 238 is all right, although I'm not big into emo, and so is the Eyes Are Bleeding song. Overall, it's not bad, but it's not a good compilation. I don't think it was meant to be though. It is simply there to show what Takehold has to offer, which is some good stuff. If you have never heard of these bands, then get this CD. It's worth the 6 or so bucks you pay for it. Other bands on the disc are The Blamed, Further Seems Forever, Recess Theory, Tenderfoot, Bagwell, Stairwell, Through The Eyes Of Katelyn, As I Saw Love, and Shinji Ikari. background, with credits and one simple live photo on the last page. They didn't spend time on making the disc look beautiful, but they sure made it sound beautiful.

Starting with some great new metal/hardcore bands and then moving on to some college alternative sounds, and then back and forth until you've covered the CD's musical sweep at least twice over. Packaged in a tri-fold cardboard sleeve with dark dancing/walking silhouettes the CD is distinctive outside…Similar sounding releases
