Something for Nothing #53Nov 2001
two things i generally don't enjoy too much, cassettes and compilations, come together here to form one thing i don't like very much. a few of the bands here are actually fairly good, like ed temple, yesterday's kids, and especially the electric company (who do a wonderful, weird, art rock track called "scrambled eggs"), but overall--as is the case with compilations in general--the tracks are pretty weak. there are a couple horrible/scary bands, too. that sure doesn't help...
