This Canadian compilation begins with the big guitars and grunge vocals of Bigtime Nobody, and then continues with a bouncy modern rock band called Coincidence?. Granite Island is an interesting, young, distortion-filled rock band who could have a future, and L of 8 has a cool takes on the gritty melodic punk sound, with a profound song called "Know Me." Covering more of the punk rock territory are the able songs of Shambles. The award for best song title on the album easily goes to Ainsley Friesen, with "I Lost My Etch-a-Sketch the Day I Met You."
