From Finland comes a heavy Death Metal band that fits easily into the norm of what people can expect from this genre of metal. Cathacomb (formerly DMB) does not deserve the trash can, but there is nothing here to blow the roof off the house either. If you like straight ahead grind with distorted vocals, Cathacomb is for you.

There are a few highlights on this five song demo such as the Steve Rowe on drugs approach to the vocal delivery as well as the song "Fools," which is a cool, slow death tune that will put you in a trance.

A challenge goes out to the band to experiment a bit more --take a chance or two.
