Crunch! Crunch! This band from Finland put a huge smile on my face from the moment I hit the play button. While the production is a little heavy on the bass side . . . quite honestly, with music this brutal, it doesn't matter. They list two influences, Believer and Tourniquet, which means a lot of complexity. Listen to the guitars in "Reality" and "Pride Mind." Guitarists Jarno Saren and Jani Makwen work well together. Drummer Miikka Tikka pounds his kit with such fury I'm amazed that it stays together.
The same quality behind the music is behind the lyrics as well. "The Amnesty" deals with loneliness. "The Dark Side Holds Not" talks of the temptations of Satan.
This is a first class band that is leaps and bounds better than most of the metal underground. Get this tape. Believe me, you won't be disappointed.
