Here's a 5-song custom tape from a six-piece band. The music is a high-energy blend of hard rock, metal, and sometimes thrash. The vocals are high-pitched, the keyboards play a major role, the guitars fly, and the drums thrash out a rapid-fire snare pounding--all in one song, "Seeing Is Believing". A keyboardist must've mixed the tape, because the keys sometimes have more prominence than the guitar, which keeps the music here from really taking off. A song like "Don't Have To Run" shows the strong songwriting potential of this band. Hottest tunes are "Downfall", and "Why"--showing the band's diversity and rough edge. While this tape isn't a very well-produced effort, a glimpse of the band's promising future is evident. I'm very much looking forward to more from these guys.
