Here's a creative tape featuring the quirky alternative energy of John Thompson (True Tunes)'s band--Vague. The unpredictableness of the music reminds me of Trio Of One, while the acoustic passion reminds me of a Sam Phillips or Mark Heard. There's some real cool use of the saxophone, as well as female vocal harmonies. Fans of alternative music aimed at college radio ought to really enjoy this.
