What a bizarre tape! Judging by the credits listed, all but the drums are done by one person, D.M. Lively, hence the name D.M.L. Well Mr. Lively is quite a talented man. He plays a mean guitar, his vocals are good, and his lyrics are well written. "An endless cycle, in and out goes your soul, attaining nothing is the ultimate goal" (from "When Your Dead"). "If I took the step of obedience, I would crush the thing that now rules over me" (from "Knowing and Doing").
Musically, this eleven song tape (which is only one side of a tape) takes you in many directions - metal, industrial and even some rap. The production is fair, just don't turn it up, you might hurt your speakers.
This is a good tape, but with better production, this could have been a great tape. On a 10 scale, I give it a five.
