Here is a promising young band from Wisconsin that really surprised me. Touches of the Seattle sound grace this band, but overall their style is commercial metal with lots of melody.

"AND I PRAY" is a full length, nine song tape that has an outstanding production. The lyrics to most of the songs are very personal and thought provoking. "There's a part of me/ seeking my own gain/it gets inside my head/and it wants to kill me/ and in the end I'm filled with pain/cause the selfish side/it has destroyed me" (from the song "And I Pray").

At times, some of the vocals go flat, but that can improve. And with as much talent as Thorn Crown has, I'm sure it will.

"AND I PRAY" is a four star release that should attract a lot of attention.
