When I looked at the low-budget TDK Normal Bias tape with no case, I thought, "Oh great! This is gonna be horrible sounding." But...I was surprised. Recorded here is some halacious tunes with a deep groove and a crunchin' funky flavor. Hot stuff! These guys rock! If these guys continue this stuff, they could really get some major attention. Think of these guys as a more commercial scaterd-few. They've got the same energy and go-for-it abandon, yet their hooks are bigger and grooves are deeper. Cries of "I forgive you for what you've done" grace this tape with a right-on lyrical direction (although no lyric sheet was provided, meaning no in-depth lyrical analysis. The words are decipherable, fortunately.) This tape is awesome! They could easily be the first band to break out of the Kansas City musician's fellowship (CRUSADE).
