Here is the third release from Wonderland Records. Having heard hype that it was musically somewhere between Heart and Giant, I eagerly anticipated hearing it. Well, I'm disappointed that it's not as good or heavy as the two afore-mentioned bands; but I'm impressed that it's filled with punching hot tunes of the Whiteheart variety. The guitar work sizzles! Lots of good hooks are present here and the lead vocals are shared/traded by Amy Walters and guitarist Bill Heller. The material is very strong and very commercial. Like I said, fans of Whiteheart will love it. Much of this stuff sounds like it could've been recorded on that band's "Freedom" and "Powerhouse" albums. Power rock with power hooks and a few power ballads. A good performance, yet not much for metalheads to chew on.
