Fast hardcore punk with honest and perfectly suited vocals would be a start in describing From Ashes Rise. As a hardcore punk band, F.A.R. is more fluid and less choppy than similar bands of the genre. I've said in other reviews that with some bands it's just pointless to write about their sound because how can you put into words all you're hearing without sounding cliché? Some have said bands creating this type of music have no talent; however this is one more band to add to the list of reasons why they are wrong. Great guitar parts and equally notable drumming make this an album to take notice of.
