Stand and Fight (formerly known as Impact) play a fast brand of old school hardcore that brings to mind the likes of Integrity and Ten Yard Fight (whose Wrench plays in the band) in terms of sheer intensity. The record opens with 'Nothing New' which teeters on the strength of a hastily played bassline before the rest of the band drops in to join the chaos.
The lyrics are typical of straight edge hardcore and are unrelentingly positive and forward. This isn't bad by any means and the music is perfect for what they're doing. Clocking in at only 18 minutes, the record moves at a fast clip and never lets up. For fans of all that's actually right in hardcore today.
