From the label that's brought us Jawbox, Rusty & The Lemonheads, Fuzzy came together partly by The Lemonheads' David Ryan joining up to lend his sticks & cans. So what's so fuzzy bout Fuzzy? Well, besides the fuzzy guitars laid down by the two girl vocalists Chris Toppin & Hilken Mancini, one would assume their slippers to be pink & fuzzy. Cept they wear big black boots. Then there's probably the warm fuzzies they get when the Electric Juices flow while playing these 13 songs. This is sorta the 60's brought into the 90's. But it's a good thing, cause you like those great female harmonies. But then you've gotta have the churning gritty guitars, too. Well Fuzzy's got it. And these ditties just beg you sing along. Not the least of which is a song Shaun Cassidy once recorded called "Girl Don't Tell Me". But as good & catchy as that song is, their own are at least as fun. Listen to "Flavor", "Miss The Mark", "Someday", or "Uncut". Fuzzy hits the bull's eye right between just the right amount of pop & edge.
