Another hard rock band demo, but this one features more of a serious metallic guitar all through the tape. This Golgotha is not to be confused with the Bay Area version. These guys have gone after a Led-Zeppelin/ blues-based sound - complete with guitar sounds similar to Jimmy Page's violin bow techniques. It features 13 full-length songs, all recorded in Golgotha's living room on a reel to reel tape recorder. The production is obviously not the best, but I enjoy listening to it. It plods at times, but that's da blooz sometimes, ya know? They list their influences as Sabbath, Zep, Purple, and Robin Trower. To get ahold of this tape, send $3 to Golgotha, c/o D.
