Australia has something to be proud of here. This band sounds like a cross between early-early Heart and Margaret Becker. It's melodic metal/ hard rock with lots of pop melodies and hooks, but it doesn't wimp out. With the recent success of Lita Ford, Rosanna's Raiders could very well be very popular. Rosanna has a crystal clear and very strong voice. The production allows lots of breathing room for the instruments and vocals to compliment each other. Rosanna's Raiders succeed musically by not venturing beyond Rosanna's vocal range. There's not a loser song on this tape. Now that Christian metal is expanding so much, you the consumer, have more to choose from. Some of you aren't going to like this record, 'cause it's not bone-crunching metal or thrash. Most of you will like it, 'cause it's aggressive and has a big sound. The title cut is a rocker and the second song, "Like a River," is a beautiful ballad, like any you could take off a Heart album.
