The Beautiful E.P.

Follow Rowe as he takes you on a journey of a 5 song project of his favorite styles. Touching on the pop of his youth with "Let it Go," I found myself bouncing and recalling those joyous days in middle school! The Gary Newman-esque guitars are something I have been missing. "Do You Know" is a simple love song for those who need a pick-up from God. Rowe states in the liner notes that he wrote "Beautiful" "on a jet-lagged night while on a Guardian tour in Gouda Holland..." It is hard to determine this while looking at the words. They are well thought out. The tune and music hold the Guardian signature. Not a bad thing, mind you. Jamie, I am really glad that you let us in on "Amy." What a beautiful song. Thank you for not keeping it to yourself. This is not a Guardian album although Tony Palacios and Karl Ney helped in the recording. While I was saddened with the news of the departure of Guardian, I am happy to say that Jamie Rowe is still writing fabulous music and I am sure the others will as well.
