If I were a record company executive looking for a band to sign, this band would be it. Oracle is one of the hottest bands I have heard in a long, long time. Hailing from Greensboro, North Carolina, Oracle has put together an outstanding seven-song demo called "Selah." I really can't pick one song on this tape and say it's the best, because all of the songs on this tape are great. Two that I liked the most are Passage Denied, with its double bass drum attack and Rebella, with its haunting acoustic guitar. This band has one of the best vocalists around! The production is excellent--so good, in fact, that should any record company wanting to sign this band could easily use this demo for their first release. For a musical comparison, try Iron Maiden or Mercyful Fate. If this band is not picked up very soon, I will be very disappointed.
