Propheta

Well Doug, you did it again! I had this same problem with a band I reviewed in issue #42 with a band called Vox Dei. A great band, but with all Spanish lyrics. Same thing with Propheta. So I'll review it the same way, on the quality of the music.
The music! I tell ya, I keep picturing Spanish music as the stereotypical acoustic guitar, violins, trumpets and men wearing sombreros. The times they are a changin'! The music is superior to a lot of American bands. The first cut, "Preludio En La Mayor," is a metal instrumental. "Alegrese" has a great hook that could have potential on radio.
The production, while not as good as one would hear on an American release like Bride or Guardian, is still quite good.
Now guys, next time release material with English lyrics so someone who can't understand Spanish, like myself, can get the same enjoyment as our Spanish brothers and sisters!
