Let me say this band really impressed me! There's very little originality these days, due to all of the current musical styles. What The Encircled has done is borrow from these styles and put out a five song tape of pure aggression!
The tape starts with "Blind Humanity," a song about racial prejudice. From the first few notes, I didn't budge from my speakers.
From there they went through four more songs like "Mental Hibernation," about depression, and "The Unholy" which is pure scripture.
The best way I can describe this band is, take the intensity of The Crucified, mix a little Nirvana grunge in, add some Vengeance-like vocals and heat at 1000 degrees, and you get The Encircled. One hot tape from a great band! For more info: The Encircled, 575 E. Wilshire, Hermiston, OR 97838.
