These guys of course remind me of the Broadways, but they also remind me a little bit of Johnny Respect's more edgier stuff, and Good Riddance. Vocally I really did not dig them, a little too scruffy sounding for me. I did like the aggressiveness though, and the way they didn't always stick to the basic punk rock style. The songs I like best on this CD include, "Someday We're All Gonna Weigh 400 lbs.", "The North Side, the L&L and any Number of Crappy Apartments, "Smokestacks", and "Eighteen Inches". This is a CD that grew on me. At first I really could not get into it. But as I listened to it more and more, the more I began to enjoy it.
