The Undecided, Tooth and Nail's Canadian punk answer, follows up with their sophomore release with the label. Their music has been featured on MTV's Road Rules VS. The Real World, and Fox Sportnet.
The Undecided uses Tooth and Nail as a shelter against the real punk scene. Remove the Tooth and Nail label distr. and advertising power and there's no way these guys could cut it. Their music is blah and a rerun of everything that's already happened in the scene. Gee, I didn't see that cut coming there, or that breakdown here. There is little creativity and nothing to catch the listener's ear. The album cover sports a little essay about the evils of the free market system so it would seem that the Undecided are not without a political side to their image.
On the positive side, this is better material than their first Tooth and Nail release (that's not really saying much) and the recording is good. However in the end you're left with standard, mediocre music that just adds excess waste to an already flooded punk rock market.
