Too Bad Eugene contains ex-members of Craig's Brother. They were previously signed with Rock City recordings (MxPx's label) and have now released this debut with Tooth and Nail.
With the former vocalist from Craig's Brother there is a similar sound that introduces you to Too Bad Eugene. The music is laid back emotional punk which is driven at times by strong, almost metallic guitar leads. On the plus side they don't fall into the trap or glut so many other punk bands have lately. The whole CD has a relaxed introspective feel to it, although it's not boring or slow. While there might not be a whole lot of groundbreaking work "Moonlighting" is worth the listen.
