Cosmic Requiem

Ok, first off I want to voice a complaint. I wish these guys would quit tryin to be funky or disco-y or what ever the heck they attempt occasionally, sometimes it comes across as sounding real cool & other times it sounds really dumb. Ok, on with the review. 43 minutes & 4 tracks of, well...hmm: The first 2 tracks "Cosmic Funeral" (which is the basic reason for the complaint) & "Hypnos 164" the aggressor of the 2 tracks, are just average. "A Funeral Request-Rebirth" is a remake of a tune off their first disc Forest of Equilibrium from 1991 & it is what Cathedral is supposed to sound like. And finally the last track, the 23 min long epic "The Voyage of The Homeless Sapien", which goes through change after change after change & is by far the coolest track on here & is well worth the price alone. So go buy this disc or be doomed! (ha ha get it?)
