Lookie lookie who's back! It's Elvis's evil brother with the belt buckle from hell. It's none other than Danzig himself. With 12 new tracks of his own brand of rock'n'roll. First listen left me kinda cold, but by the third listen this kicked my butt. With killer songs such as "Brand New God", "Little Whip", and my all time favorite Danzig song "Cantspeak" featuring Glenn as you've never heard him before. "Going Down to Die" is kinda bluesy and dark (what Danzig song isn't?), "Until You Call On The Dark" features some cool production effects as does "Cantspeak". "Dominion" is a departure from other Danzig stuff but it still has that vibe, "Bringer of Death" is so cool it shreds compared to the other songs. "Sadistika!" is also unlike any other Danzig you might have experienced, it's sorta industrial. Following closely is the way cool and laid back "Son of The Morning Star" and "I Don't Mind the Pain". "Stalker Song" is really corny lyrically but the music is creepy, & "Let It Be Captured" is the last song on this disc and it's kinda boring. If you're a Danzig fan go buy this and give it a try and if you've never heard Danzig before (other than "Mother") this is a great disc to start on!
