Try as I might, it's hard for me to be critical of this album. Straight-ahead rock and roll is as strong as ever. That's how I would sum up this CD. Lost Again contains 11 well-produced tuens with an underlying southern feel. The vocalist reminds me of David Coverdale minus the whiskey throat. The other three members of the band give very sturdy support. The basic theme of the album seems to be about that inner vexation that occurs when one lets worldly distractions interfere with our walk in the Spirit. But, then again, I could be way off. Anyway, they do this with flavoring from Stone Temple Pilots, maybe a little Bride, and some REZ thrown in for good measure.
The only thing that would keep this band from air time on Zrock would be major distribution and one of those $1,000 per hour producers. This is still a very good buy, though.
