Modest Attraction II

On this release there's some real good ideas, showing talent in playing and songwriting, but still "missing it" a little in these songs, and there are good moments. In "Be Your Child," guitarist Stephan Mohlin gets a happenin' wah-wah sound a la G 'n' R that really spiced up the tune. "Love Shot Me Down" has a pretty good hook in it, yet still sounds like a band trying to struggle to feel comfortable in the groove. It sounds a bit forced. I bet this band is smokin' hot live. The riffs used for "Shake the World" and "Down on my Knees" gets rollin' a la Aerosmith and AC/DC. If this talented band keeps it up, they're gonna be known a lot further than Sweden.
