Non-Point Factor is a band from Puerto Rico consisting of members from another band from that area called Sekel. Their seven-song demo is a good combination of blazing metal and high speed thrash. Guitarist Sam Mori's style reminds me of Dave Baddorf (Believer), while vocalist Javier Vazquez sounds a lot like James Hetfield of Metallica. Comparisons to Believer or even Sound Garden wouldn't be too far off. In my opinion, the two best songs are "Lost Deep Within My Mind" and "Base on a True Story." "Lost..." sounds like one's struggle over depression, while "Based..." is a song speaking out against racism. A very strong debut. I really look forward to hearing more from this band.
