We're tough, we are Nourish the Flame. Even the name is tough. I mean, their band name is advocating the practice of firestarting and helping fires grow, so they must be hard. Indeed, Nourish the Flame is metal. Obviously influenced by ZAO, Nourish is a hardcore metal band with growls and screams for vocals, none of that sissy singing in between yells for Nourish the Flame. The drum work and song arrangements are commendable, and Dave Quiggle does the album artwork, so Nourish the Flame has that going for them before you even listen to the first track, "Prepare for War" (there they go again being tough).
