The Trauma Team - the Believer guys behind the board do a good job of balancing out & highlighting things in the right places on this 6 song tape. The more growling vocals on "Carnal Rapture" may be more fitting throughout instead of the occasional Dave Mustaine whinings. Side 2 features a Believer "loan" as Scott Laird on violin compliments "The Innocent of Darkness", a heavy ballad, while guitar/vocalist Justin Miller tries yet another vocal style. Brothers (?) D.N. Nguyen & Chien Nguyen on drums hold the rhythm down tight. After a couple listens my car ate my tape so, uh... (by the way, I hope that stereo eats all the tapes of the guy who stole it that very night!). Seraph have got some good potential. Fairly original death/thrash.
